Hey, folks. I'm sort of in a dilemma here.
While I'm still putting the story together, I can't quite decide who should be the co-star with the Breakout Stars story's protagonist, Artie Bradfield.
On one hand, you have Captain Craas' efficient but ever suffering partner, Delta Lyle. Narritive possiblities include her going behind Craas and the corps back to investigate Ominous' new found weapon (Artie's Magic Pencil), meeting Artie in the process. In spite of Artie being a little cynical and reluctant, and Delta being sort of a headstrong perfectionist, the two could begin to warm up to each other, realising that they're both commonly talented and under appreciated people being kept down by biased authority. With their common goal involving to confront Ominous and obtain the pencil, Artie and Delta learn to work together, thus rekindling each others hope and trust.
And on the other, you have the tomboyish pre-teen kid genius, Teck Fennex. She could be started off as a mysterious rouge figure with a reputation, but know one knows who or what she is (Not even her gender was identified). Artie could encounter her as they both runaway from Madelyn, Rip-Tile, and some of Ominous troopers. Teck vanishes, leaving Artie to pursue Ominous on his own until he gains information about this figure he was with and how this figure could help him. Eventually, Artie finds Teck and eventually finds out that she was the kid character Artie recommended to his boss before she was denied the spot in favour of Captain Craas. During their Odyssey, the two could eventually begin to connect like brother and sister as Tecki reminded Artie in a way of how unfair life was to him ever since he was Tecki's age. This motivates Artie to not only conquer the odds to get home, but to make sure that everyone in the show recognises Tecki's potential to be a heroine.
Both characters will be involved in the story anyway, but I feel that at least one of the two girls should have a role that's equally important as Artie's.
Feel free to express who you think would be best for the co-star role in the story. Keep in mind that in this, you can't pick both.
